I've been here multiple times and every single time I end up being harassed and threatened by other pub goers, for absolutely no reason at all, used to be a great pub but it's gonna massively down hill, my friends and I won't be returning as I just don't feel safe anymore

If you like to sleep then don't stop here. The loud music was right under my room and played till after midnight. You could hear people's conversations and the pool table. The room had faulty and dangerous light fittings and very dated decor. Towels were old and flat. The room door didn't lock from the outside. Sorry, but I'm just being honest.

Only had Sunday lunch here from the carvery which was very good and hot which makes a change from others I've had. Service was very good and friendly staff. After a year the place is still just the same warm local hotel.

Came here for a family meal for 12 people. Lovely cavery. Lots of meat, veggies and drinks were reasonable. The black forest cheese cake was the best part of the entire meal. It was beautiful. Very friendly staff. We parked on the road as the carpal was full. We disabled my Dad's blue badge and it was closer to walk from the front of the pump in rather than from in the car park in. I'd like to add that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Went from Sunday carvery nothing ok much trouble for the staff had a brilliant carvery whole meal well cooked and presented nothing was too much trouble for Lynn and diane in all an excellent meal that we will have again

Be aware they in force a ban for under 16’s rule after 9pm on a sunday, nearly empty venue! Such a shame was enjoying a quiet drink with partner and my teenager who wasn’t causing a problem and there was other children about we was asked …

Went for Sunday carvery. Absolutely brilliant, value for money, very tasty and the inside of the pub looks great! Definitely recommend the food. Food & drinks: Great value and very tasty, if you leave hungry it's only your fault!

This has to be one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Nothing was to much trouble. Even the local patreons opened their arms and involved you in conversation. Food was great pub food and portions that will put you in a food coma. Thank you all for a very welcoming, friendly and comfortable stay. I will be back

Our first vist for the Sunday Carvery, all fresh veg and homemade yorkies and roast potatoes too, the meats were absolutely beautiful and from local butcher. The best carvery we've ever had. The staff were very accommodating and Will definitely be going again.
